The Wanderer

Terin roamed the forest, on his own as he had been since he was young. For nearly a year and a half he had been a loner, since he was barely old enough to hunt for himself and a rival pack had nearly obliterated his pack. He had been on his own so long, he could barely remember what it had been like, to be part of a pack. But the memories he did have were fond ones, and he longed to be a part of one again. Hopefully, he'd find a new, permanent home soon. But for now, he focused on the present, seeking a good spot to make a den for the night. As he went along, though, a rustle in the underbrush made him stop and pause, listening.

[Scratch]

Watch your life...

Night, black paws. Running, but no steps heard. A pair of yellow orbs glowing in the dark night. Her ears flattened and her teeth bared. Brina could hear another wolf. She could smell him. She could hear rustle too. She growled quietly and snarled. Her ears were back up. It was just another loner, seeking for a den. She used to sleep under the stars. She liked it that way. She stood up straight and walked to the other loner with her head held up high. "Loner." She gave him a nod. "Never seen you before around here." Her voice was soft, like a breeze that was messing with her black fur. Her pelt was whole black. Her orbs were like the moon. Bright, glowing. She smiled. She was wise. She was young. It was all she needed. Freedom. She loved to be free. "What's your name wolf?" She grinned and moved few steps closer. "I'm Brina."

...Slip trough your fingers...

Terin was startled by the she-wolf's aggressive stance when she first approached him. After a breif moment, though, she relaxed, calming down. He gave a nod in response to her own. "I could say the same about you," He told her, when she commented about not seeing him around, "But I'm sort of new around here. My name is Terin. A pleasure to meet you, Brina." Whether it really was or not, he would have to wait and see. He mostly just said it to be polite.

[Scratch]

...'cuz I'm here...

She smiled. "Pleasure meeting you too Terrin. She sat down. You seem like you're looking for a den Terrin. She laughed. I prefer sleeping under the stars, but I own a small den. Well I could say, that here, no one own anything, but I consider it mine." She smiled at her words and twitched her tail. "Well I'm probably going to find a place to sleep too. It's getting late and I'm getting rather sleepy." She laid down and sighed. "I could easily sleep here too." Her eyes were closing already. She shook her head contently. "Sorry. It isn't nice to fall asleep when talking." She smiled kindly. Well she wasn't very social... But she always knew when to be friendly. Alrtrough, she had a great power. She giggled."Do you know my power wolf?" She wasn't trying to scare him. It was just a warning, if he'd decide to attack.

-Its just 1 R in Terin.-

"I am indeed," Terin said, "But I wouldn't want to take your den away, not on a night like this." The air was humid and heavy, and there were storm clouds gathering in the sky. There would be downpours tonight, Terin was sure of it. "Thank you for the offer, but I can just as easily create one for myself." Since his power was earth control, it would take him no time at all. He laughed lightly as she started to drift off to sleep after laying down. "No, I don't know your power. I have just met you, after all," He told her, thinking the question to be a bit odd.

[Scratch]

You can resist....

"Indeed. I thought you don't. It wasn't meant to be mean or anything. I just always say that so that others think twice before attacking me."

[/b] She smiled and stood up. "I enjoy rain." She whimpered as her back started to hurt. She closed her eyes tightly. That.... Hurts She yelped in pain as small little feathery things started to grow out of her back. "What's growing on my back?" The wings were always bigger. "Tero, could you please help me get up? No never mind, I was planing to go to sleep anyway." When the wings were completely grown out, she sighed with relief."I thought, that it isn't going to stop. So do you like my... Er... New wings?" She grinned and stood up so he could see what has grown on her back. "Do you think I can fly?" She titled her head. Let's find out.! She unfolded her new wings and jumped in the air. "Tero! I'm flying!" She laughed and made a circle above him. "!Nice huh?" [/color][/center][/size]

"I had no plans on attacking you," He said, "If you decided to attack me, that would be a different mat-" He stopped mid-sentence as he saw feathers seeming to grow out of her back suddenly. He watched as they grew bigger, into a pair of wings. He walked in a circle around her, amazed. "They're...incredible," He told her, "I've never seen anything like that." He laughed as she took off suddenly, and flew in circles above him. Perhaps, one day, he'd get wings like that too...

[Scratch]

So just...

"I wasn't planing on attacking you." She giggled and landed. I already told you Tero. It's just a warning in case you want to attack me." She smiled. "For your sake, I hope you aren't" She hoped that she didn't sound agressive. She smiled again quickly. "It's great to fly." It was getting always darker. "So would you like to come to my den or will you stay here?" She motioned her head in the direction of her den. "It's like an big cave. Five wolfs could sleep there. And I can always make it bigger." She nodded and smiled. "So are you coming?" She was quite curious of his power. She wanted to know which power she gets if she stays close to him. But she wasn't there only because of him... She liked him a little bit.

...don't.

"As long as you don't mind," Terin told her with a quick nod. Even if it was a big cave, he wanted to make sure he wouldn't be a nuisance by sharing it with her. He really didn't want to impose, but at the same time, he wanted to spend time with her. He liked her, and wanted to get to know her better. "So what is you power, anyway?" He asked, walking along with her towards the den she'd pointed out.

Falcon had heard other wolves nearby. He slid into the cover of some bushes and watched the other wolves pass by. When he saw them he thought they don't seem hostile. The he stepped out of the bushes and said "hello, i am Falcon. What are your names?"

[Scratch]

What can I do...

"It's called blood lust." She smiled. "I'm not planing to use it right now." Her head turned towards the direction of the new wolf and her ears lowered. "Brina." She said more relaxed after she found out, that the wolf doesn't look harmful. She unfolded her wings again. "Do you mind if I fly?" She giggled and looked at Falcon. "Do you want to come with us Falcon?" She flapped her wings to fly higher. Suddenly, a thunder cracked and it started raining. Brina giggled again. "I don't know for you two, but I don't mind being wet. If you do, we should better hurry." Her yellow orbs glowed as she made a looping. She couldn't stop giggling. "So.. Coming," She calmed down and landed. "Or not?"

Terin was about to ask her what 'blood lust' meant, when a wolf emerged from the bushes. "Terin," He informed the newcomer, watching him closely as he approached. He didn't seem to be showing any hostility towards them, so Terin saw no point in do so to him. Brina didn't seem to either; she invited him along to the den. He shook his fur as rain began to collect on the hairs. "Let's go," Terin said, "I'm not too fond of the rain." He felt an odd tingling on his back, but ignored it, for now. He looked to the new wolf. "What about you, Falcon?"

[Scratch]

..When everything...

Brina smiled. "Okay follow me. I'll be flying." She flew up again. She never minded rain. Actually, she liked rain. A whole lot. She always thought of it as refreshing, never cold and wet. She made a looping again. "Oh fun!" She smiled and flew a little lower. Just by the floor. "I shall fly like this." She giggled and looked over to Falcon curiously. "Are you coming?" She titled her head slightly. "If you don't want to, you're always welcome at my den!" She smiled again and went to make another looping. "I'm tellin' ya! That's FUN!" She folded her wings and landed. "But I get tired. I think that I shall continue like this." She smiled again and sat down. "We shall get on going."

..Seems so pointless...

Sage looked at the talking wolves. She moved slowly not to show off the fact she was there. She walked out of her hiding spot and walked up to the rest of the wolves now. She stood in her spot waiting to see what they would tell her.

Brina looked at the newest wolf that came and grinned. "Hello there." She then turned back to Tero. "Wow! I never knew that so many wolfs roam around here!" She titled her head and looked back to Sage. "We're going to my den. Not really mine since nothing belongs to no one here, like I already told to Tero, but you weren't here so I had to tell you again and I don't know why I'm blabling so much right now." She closed her mouth, but not for long. She burst out laughing. "I probably talked to fast... When I start blabling no one understands me. Let me tell you again. We're going to my den. I consider it mine, but nothing belong to no one here, as you probably know. You're welcome to come if you want." She smiled and motioned her head towards her wings. "I see that you have wings too! Mine have just grown recently." She giggled and unfolded her wings. "Mine are white." She giggled again and folded them. "Can you make looping's? It's really fun! I'm telling ya! Why am I so blablish today? That's really weird you know! Well I just feel good. It's nice to have some company around here."

..Despise the fact...

Falcon spread his wings,they were the color of sunset, and said "i don't mind being wet" then growled softly "it's good to meet some friendly wolves for once" then he looked at the new wolf and said "hello, i am Falcon. who are you?"

[Kiki]

Sage replyed" Names Sage I don't get bothered by the rain. She sat down and stretched her wings. "I feel like having a quick race, but I think we should go with the other wollf that I'm not sure if I got her name." Sage looked at brina curiously.

"her name is Brina and he is Terin" replied Falcon. He stepped out into the rain and looked up and smiled as he thought just like the night i got my wings

"Nice to meet you, Sage," Terin said to the new she-wolf with a nod. He was surprised at how many wolves there were around. He'd hardly seen any the past few weeks. But his mind was quickly taken off that matter, as he felt a sharp pain in his back. He gave a small whimper, as two new appendages grew from his back. Like the others, he know had wings as well. His were falcon-like, and blue-black in color.

Falcon smiled and said kindly "congratulations Terin, your wings look great". Then he turned to look at Brina and said "maybe we should start going before the weather gets worse". He looked up at the sky and saw the dark grey clouds above.
